Restomod consists of the words restore and modify. Meaning a classic look car combined with today’s technology. For the VS 008 we embedded even more modern features than the previous projects. With a completely renewed intake system and a bespoke exhaust we created a proper powerhouse.
917 tribute
Remember when we talked about the Gulf Porsche 917? The gear lever got so hot during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, that the driver could no longer shift gears. An oak gear knob was introduced especially for this race. As a tribute to this iconic modification and with a nod to the oak exterior color, we have fitted the Oak 917 Tribute shifter.
